  • Medical history: Recent lameness of left, front limb with two episodes of pain. Acute, non-weight-bearing lameness after jumping resolved with nonsteroidal, anti-inflammatory medication. Aural hematomas with periodic treatments. Hip arthritis.

  • Medications: Monthly prophylaxis for fleas and internal parasites.

  • Social history: Patient is the only pet in the household.
