Gross postmortem photograph of a chicken with fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome (FLHS). The liver is enlarged, pale, and friable. There are multiple hemorrhages on the parenchyma. There is a large blood clot that covers the dorsal aspect of the right lobe. Note the large amount of abdominal fat.
