Brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing output, abnormal, dog
Waveforms representing central auditory processing in a dog with abnormal hearing. In a dog with normal hearing, within 12 milliseconds the two waveforms would be in phase, with peaks and troughs occurring at the same times; however, in this deaf dog, the waveforms are never in phase, indicating dysfunctional central auditory processing.
