Dorsopalmar radiographic projection of the right carpus of a foal with carpal valgus due to cuboidal bone hypoplasia. Note the incomplete ossification of the cuboidal bones of the carpus, which are small with rounded edges and wide joint spaces. Note also that the styloid process of the ulna has not fused to the distal radial epiphysis.
