Transabdominal ultrasonographic images of the prostate of a dog with cystic benign prostatic hyperplasia. The prostate has a heterogeneous echotexture and irregular margins. Hypoechoic to anechoic, thin-walled intraparenchymal cysts (yellow arrows) are visible within the prostate.
