Electrical injury, tongue, cat

Necrosis of the tip of a cat's tongue approximately 48 hours after the owner discovered multiple chewed electrical cords. After treatment with antimicrobials and analgesics, plus temporary placement of a feeding tube, this area of the tongue eventually sloughed.
