Epidemic curve, common continuous source

Epidemic curve for a hypothetical common continuous source in which cases were exposed to a common source that is present for an extended period (eg, a contaminated water source). Case numbers gradually rise before either peaking or plateauing and declining. The x-axis represents the day of onset of clinical signs and the y-axis represents the number of cases.
