Internal caseous lymphadenitis, abscesses, mesenteric lymph nodes, sheep
Abscesses in multiple mesenteric lymph nodes in an adult ewe with the internal form of caseous lymphadenitis, revealed on necropsy. The cut surface of one lymph node displays the characteristic thick, onion-like layers of purulent material within these lesions.
