Linear accelerator, cone beam CT system

An image-guided linear accelerator with a cone beam CT system integrated into the treatment delivery system (black arrow). This system is equipped with a robotic positioning couch (yellow arrow) that is capable of shifting the patient with 6 degrees of freedom—pitch, roll, yaw, and vertical, lateral, and horizontal planes—to align the treatment beam to the intended target within the patient’s anatomy.
