Ultrasonogram, stomach and spleen, horse
Normal ultrasonographic image obtained from the 12th intercostal space in a horse. The greater curvature of the stomach can be identified as a hyperechoic, curvilinear line. The spleen and the splenic vein on the visceral surface of the spleen are immediately adjacent to the greater curvature.
