Guttural pouch mycosis (Aspergillus)

    Endoscopic image of a mycotic plaque (Aspergillus spp) over the internal carotid artery and cranial nerves IX and X along the caudodorsal wall of the medial compartment of the left guttural pouch. This horse had clinical signs of dysphagia, left laryngeal hemiplegia, and persistent dorsal displacement of the soft palate.
