Natural presentation of teschovirus encephalomyelitis in piglets

    Piglets naturally infected with Teschovirus A. Clinical signs such as paresis, paralysis and ataxia are commonly observed in affected pigs. Note the normal mentation and awareness of surroundings within affected animals. Clinical signs may vary from mild (ataxia) to markedly severe (paralysis and opisthotonos).
