Tamponamento para hemorragia nasal, cão
A patient is anesthetized and intubated to control nasal hemorrhage. The nares have been packed tightly with cotton-tipped applicators, left in place for 10–15 minutes. Not pictured is the caudal oropharynx, also tightly packed with rolled gauze. Rolled gauze is used so it can be easily retrieved.
