Blood collection, jugular vein, guinea pig
Jugular vein blood collection with a guinea pig in dorsal recumbency with forelimbs restrained caudally. The restrainer's fingertips are positioned at the thoracic inlet to engorge the jugular veins. The phlebotomist should restrain the guinea pig's head in their nondominant hand (left, in this image).
