ECG, accelerated idioventricular rhythm (AIVR), dog

ECG of a dog, showing a relatively slow AIVR (the rate is in the 140s and 150s). Note that in the middle of the second trace, the sinus node takes over because the sinus rate (160s–180s) is higher than the rate of the ventricular ectopic focus. When the sinus rate decreases again, the AIVR returns.
