Visceral urate deposition

    Urate deposits on the peritoneum and serosal surfaces of a chicken. The urates are white, semisolid, and gritty. Acute urate deposition must be differentiated from yellow fibrinous or purulent inflammatory exudates that are secondary to infectious causes.
