Multiple Dogs in California Die After Eating Toxic Mushrooms

Recent weather has allowed growth of the toxic death-cap mushroom in coastal California, resulting in deaths of several dogs that consumed them. The highly toxic species can lead to death within 24-48 hours and can be fatal to people as well.
